If you have a weak stomach you should probably just skip this story. We've decided that if we have to be somewhere, we do not feed Aspen before we leave NO MATTER how hungry she is. You see she has this gift where no matter what you feed her and no matter how slow you drive, she will ALWAYS throw up all over her clothes, her seat and the car. I don't know how she manages to harbor so much puke but she does it. I tell ya, it's a gift. Not many children I know have this gift. When she vomits, it's not just a small amount that is easily cleaned. It means no going anywhere, turning around and heading right home. You think I'd have learned by now, but I haven't and so about 5 times now she hasn't had a change of clothes and we've had to endure the smell. This one particular time we were headed down the mountain to the stake center for a church broadcast. She was in her beautiful church dress and looking so adorable. Half way to our destination which is about 30 min into the hour it takes to get there, she exploded leaving mashed potatoes and milk covering the car. GREAT! She has no change of clothes, we're already late, and turning around will mean not going to the meeting. Well if it was me, I would have turned around, but my mother was driving and decided we needed to be there no matter what. We'd just have to smell the vomit till we got there and could clean her up. What was she going to wear? Well upon getting there we realized that she'd have to run naked because she had no clothes and we couldn't get her dress clean enough for her to wear it. Luckily.....we found an extra t-shirt that my Dad had left in the back of the car. It was a summit work shirt that fit my dad great, but Aspen.........well, not so much. I can't tell you all the sympathy stares I was getting. People must have wondered why we looked like such white trash.....EMBARASSING! Finally a sister, Sister Huey, saved my life. She just happened to be donating some clothes to a needy family.....hahahaha funy right, and happened to have a perfect sized little sunday dress in the back of her car. I guess she decided we were just as needy because she let Aspen wear the dress. THANK YOU! Finally the stares stopped and we could blend in somewhat minus the smell of puke that still lingered....oh well, what do you do?

Crazy story! I guess you'll just have to keep an extra pair of clothes in the car for emergencies. I'm glad you and Rikel had fun in Atlanta and are enjoying Tennessee.
